What additions are you making to your 2020 firewooding arsenal?

That's a nice one, I just did some reading up on it.....I think, I'm adding it to the short list.....I really like the price! Did you do the installation? Best, ~TW

    Want to gain knowledge...

One thing that helped me (note the handle, I'm still a Youngling  ) was a guide to reading pistons. I usually buy used equipment and being able to pop off the muffler and tell how the the tool was being ran was very helpful. Also googling the problem with arborsite in the heading...

Convert round handle Stihl trimmer to Bike handles?

I think that you'll just need to add the handles, mount and the longer control switch. I'd look for aftermarket or someone who made the conversion in reverse. I think it'll be fairly expensive at the dealer. Best, ~TW

Sure is quiet in here....do I need to start a fight?

AWD is better than 4 x 4 :crazy2: Gonna get the brakes changed on the housemates car. Hopefully it'll be easy? I guess that means; I hope they put anti-seize on the rotors! Best, ~TW

    Stihl 362C?

I've got the carb model of this saw....It's a nice little saw. My brother-in-law has his eyes on it (and I'm going to sell it to him). As far a prices, I see the M-tronics posted for 550.00 on FB marketplace/ebay but I don't think anyone is actually getting that. My guess is 400-475.00 in VGC...

    What backpack blower to buy

Echo has some good blowers....I've personally had really good luck with Redmax/Husky. What are you planning on doing with it? Not too sure how well the Echo warranty is implemented though; others may be able to chime in here. Best, ~TW

    String Trimmer Pros Use?

I'd second the 94 it's light and plenty powerful for weekly accounts and EOW....I also have a FS85 which weighs the same but has a little more power. They're(fs85's) pretty cheap to pick up these days and bombproof. For the serious stuff, I do use the 4-mix FS130 it's a torque monster. Best, ~TW

Down time from the virus? Bored?

Been semi-shutdown since Tuesday. Work sort of botched the whole job IMHO  .....But their still paying me- So, I guess I can't complain . Got a mystery oil leak in my 440? Gonna tear into that sometime this week- Also going to tune up some landscape and get it ready to be sold...

What additions are you making to your 2020 firewooding arsenal?

New to the game.....I'd like to get a wood stove installed and start burring. I've got a little pile that I use for backyard fires. It would be nice to have a wood stove to get me through the winter. BR, ~TW

Were you considered as offering essential services type of business on your country? The government is shutting down non-essential businesses already.

I'm somewhere in between; my work is not really essential (short term) but it's funded directly by the DOE. We're officially off as of today, we'll be connecting by Zoom, slack, email etc. I think that they restricted key access at work- But, it was pretty much a bangup job (yesterday) and we...

    this new format

It works fine on the computer, I don't use my phone for AS (for productivity reasons). I guess if I were paying for the service I'd have something to say about it  Best, ~TW

Buy local?! Forget about it! Never again!

Kadevohn Welcome, Is that your normal dealer? Do they take good care of you normally? I always ask myself this when I make a purchase at our dealer (small landscape co here also that loves minor tree work). 70 dollars over Amazon is tough pill to swallow but they may have a belt or bushing you...

    used 362 costing

@merkel Wow 362's are going for 600.00 that's crazy....... I've got a frinty-mesh 362c that I'd let go for a lot less than that! I've also got a bridge to Ketchikan I'm selling too :dancing: . @Agent smith So true, I dabble in the saws a little and have found some shady characters for sure...
