I would assume if he was an active member here, he probably would have at least tried to defend himself, but then again, maybe not?

    Surprising. But yes, that guy.

I think there's only one recent 460 sold may 7 for 795 on ebay. I don't even look at their junk anymore.

I ask, because if it did come from overland park, ks, well, you wouldn't be the only one to have issues with something from there. My first 084 came from there, turned out it had a cracked case, dumping bar oil into the crankcase. Sucks, but I didn't figure it out for months. In their...

Here's a question, after a bit of looking - did it come from Kansas?

Where to find part time work?

I'd call around to your local tree services and ask if they need any weekend help on a saw. Not likely they'd be looking for just a saw operator, rather than a full on groundsman, but it doesn't hurt to ask. Otherwise, start a business, and advertise no clean-up, put it on the ground type work.

Well... You asked, so I'll give you my opinion. Too much. Last 440 I bought was 400 bucks, started, ran, cut, and was pretty clean, too(use it most days to block wood. Nobody else is allowed to touch it!). $800 is fleabay pawn shop level pricing, in my opinion. Couple hundred more buys a brand...

    whadja do today?

Call me crazy, but I feel like that's not an approved felling cut... Methinks the homeowner got lucky on this one. We did the other 7, and had to clean this mess up with them.

    whadja do today?

Almost drowned a groundie in diesel after he filled my 200t with diesel... Caught him in the act, rinsed a few times, turned out ok. But still. Diesel? Really?

    Stihl 084 Early Oiler

Yup, did the same thing on one of mine hah. Other one is still fine.

Also, I don't think I'd bother trying to reuse the old style clutch drum, if the oiler gear is shot, that drum is probably next... If it's actually still good, might be worth something.

    Stihl 084 Early Oiler

Shouldn't make any difference, mine fit fine on the first one I did, haven't had to change over on my other one yet. If you order from a dealer, the gear should come with the spring already attached, at least mine did, so if you wanna save a couple cents, you shouldn't need to order the spring...

What would be your choice for a Texas Chainsaw Massacre type scenario?

Now, to find a way to use some of the blowback gasses to make it actually spin! Hmm...

First day with a Lone Wolf 200t

You know what's really funny about that... We had a guy for a couple weeks a year or so ago, who formerly worked for a large company that starts with the letter before B, said he'd been climbing for 10 years. Our boss buys 193t's, you get one - you break it, you better fix it, or climb with a...

We have raked pools after palms and oaks - not my happy days!

Sure, no problem! That's really funny, because I broke out a high tip yesterday, 6 inches off the ground and landed on my rear. I laughed, they laughed, everybody laughed!

Just think of that line being the only thing holding you up. Spikes slip, lanyards get sliced, and that line is the best chance any of us have of coming home every day in the event of an accident, so no slack lol! The drop may be short with slack, but it's still shock loading, and a faceful of...

Yep, that could do it. Keep that slack out of your line, and move the prusik up, probably take care of it.

Could also try it this way, same concept.

Less if there's access for a bobcat, chipper, etc close to the trees.
