Is that a easy or difficult fix?

I have a 365 special that I just picked up. I was using it today and noticed that the chain spins pretty fast at idle. If I put the chain break on the saw ideals fine and obviously the chain is stopped. Is there and adjustment I can make to fix this?

I only know stihl saws and am in need of a saw so after hearing good things I'm open to buying one. I found a very nice 365 for 300 bucks. I can't find much info on this particular model. Is this a good saw and how's the price?

He wants 500. Says it's only been used a couple times, looks like it too. Im not sure if should hold out for a 361 or not. Which would you want and what would tot expect to pay for one in very good-excellent shape?

I have the opportunity to purchase an 036 pro model with a 20" bar and chain. It appears to be in just about new shape. If it checks out, what would top dollar be? Or should I buy a brand new MS361 for 675?

I don't really need it but a have no working saw at the moment so I'd like to get one soon.

I took a gamble and bought an 036 pro model off eBay. I paid 250 shipped for the powerhead only. I'm assuming it's been rebuilt since it has a black cylinder head which I was unaware of. Compression was at 135. When I put a couple drops of oil in the cylinder I got 145. I haven't ran the saw but...

I took of the muffler and looked in and saw there is a pretty decent sized gouge in cylinder. It's 2-3 mm wide and deep. Is this worth rebuilding and if so are there manuals or a post anywhere with instructions?

I didn't see any lines on the piston but did see a slight line in the cylinder. I'll see if I can get a better picture of it tomorrow
