    STIHL 088 Ouch!

Briguy26 I have an 880 Mastermind. Very difficult pull -I can only pull 6”. But built Nd tuned so well it starts up! Randy Evans (Mastermind) recommended the Husky 396x decomp valve. What a difference! Much easier to pull. JonGHouston Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

First Sweaty Dusty Dag Nasty Run with the Mini Mill

That all depends on the timber, the local humidity, etc. I treat the end grain, where moisture loss is the highest, with a wax emulsion called Anchorseal...

362 or 441 to pair with my 261?

I have a 260 and a 440. They make a good pair for smaller and larger jobs. The 440 has a 24" bar and does a great job. BTW my 440 was purchased new for volunteer work on Katrina and has been flawless all this time. Couldn't even estimate the number of gallons of fuel run through this saw...

I also use a 260 for corner trimming....oh yeah and some real tree trimming. My 440 was purchased for Katrina cleanup and has been working flawlessly since! Now ready for a...

    Milling saw recommendation request

Thanks for the input. I'm on the learning curve and have no experience with Piltz and had not heard of them before. Have now checked the cost and quality of Cannon -wow$. After reading the manufacturing process I get it. My occasional use or maybe one-time use doesn't justify the cost... Thanks...

    Milling saw recommendation request

hi all Just joined AS but have been lurking for sometime. I'm seeking feedback on a saw purchase. I'm a hobbyist woodworker and do occasional church organized hurricane cleanups on the gulf coast. Been using a Stihl 440 since Katrina and a 260 added a few years later. I have a ~5' diameter...
