    Why I love a 50cc saw.

Prices are indeed different, but the ratio seems to be always about 65-75%. What Europian country do you mean? In Finland I see 800€ and 525€ https://www.stihl.fi/STIHL-tuotteet/Moottori-ja-oksasahat/Moottorisahat-ammattikäyttöön/22798-131/ms-261-c-m.aspx...

California considering statewide ban on gas powered gardening equipment

Idiots exist in every country. It would be interesting to know, how many people responded to this quiz before they cut only the most stupid answers.

    The Beg for Manuals Thread

Any chance to get "Shindaiwa Technical Service Bulletin TSB #11-04" or "Echo Service Bulletin SB #11-01", please? (Reason: I want to find out if https://www.chainsawcc.com/product-page/walbro-echo-part-91085-specialty-tool is suitable for my chainsaw.)

    Why I love a 50cc saw.

    CS-490 2,14 kW CS-501SX 2,57 kW Echo prices in Canada are ridiculous. In Europe CS-501SX costs about 2/3 - 3/4 of MS261.

Husqvarna 346 xp vs echo 501sx wich one?

In Canada you can't buy Dolmar - only Makita. Dolmar PS5105/PS5105H is Makita EA5000P/EA5001P. Surprisingly it seems that Makita Canada doesn't offer any heated chainsaw :buttkick:https://www.makita.ca/index2.php?event=online_catalogue&catalogueid=8

    Christmas Present for Partner

Yes! Depends on his business. But generally I'd say the best top handle is a safe bet.

    Christmas Present for Partner

MS201T is the best saw for climbing. For ground work choose from professional chainsaws ( https://www.stihl.co.uk/STIHL-Products/Chainsaws-and-Telescopic-Pole-Pruners/0130/Petrol-chainsaws-for-forestry-work.aspx ) - all are great, decision depends on how big wood he is cutting.

    Retirement Chainsaw Gift Assistance

044 on paper 5.4 hp @ 13 lb. There is no lighter saw with the same power! (Exception is the new MS400 with 5,4 hp @ 12.8 lb - not available in US.) If weight is OK, buy MS462 which has a bit more power (5.9 hp), about the same weight (13.2 lb) and is easier to start. If he'd prefer to handle...

Is Dolmar PS52 an old model

Is Dolmar PS52 an old model

PS52 shares most parts with 111/115. Designed in 1980's, produced up to 2000 (???).
  19. pavel408

    Next saw

Very true. However there is also the price criterion, which could make PS420 good choice for a small saw.

    Next saw

This danger can be eliminated by choosing AutoTune/M-Tronic saw
