Can anyone tell me if annular buffers from an 038 magnum will fit on an 028 super. I heard through the grapevine they will and that it stiffens the saw more. Anyone able to verify that?

Good evening everyone. I'm really in need of a rear handle/fuel tank assembly for a stihl 038 magnum. Mine is busted and the cheap Chinese aftermarket one I bought doesn't work. I'm not looking for a pretty one . Just need one that works and isn't cracked or warped and no stripped screw holes...

The supers generally don't have side plates. The super woodboss generally does.

I'm looking for a rim sprocket and clutch drum kit for an 028 super. I've found the oregon kit with part number 30384x is no longer available. Anyone know of another company that makes a kit? Or Anyone have one they are willing to part with?

Update. Decided to replace crank seals this afternoon. Genuine stihl parts. Have receipts for all parts mentioned.

Stihl 026 chainsaw. Brand new 18" bar and chain. New fuel line, impulse line, and oiler line. New Air filter and spark plug. Carburetor rebuilt as well. All genuine stihl parts. Starts, runs, and idles perfect. Oiler works perfect. Has the red lever. $425 plus shipping
