    Screwed by ebay

I still sell saw parts on ebay occasionally if the part is worth the time. I document everything including video of myself packaging up an item. Sounds crazy but thats the world we live in. One of the biggest things thats saved my ass more than once is PURCHASING THE SHIPPING LABEL THROUGH...

So did i for a long time until one day he sent me the wrong bar. Thats where his customer service shines. Good ol Bryce wanted me to pay return shipping for his screw up. Had to get ebay involved and sit on the phone with them explaining the situation. He admitted right away that he made a...

    Big holzfforma black Friday sale!

Its Chinese junk anyway. I spent alot of money exploring the cheap aftermarket world. Long story short i wish i had that money back to put towards the oem parts i should've bought in the first place.

If i remember i cut the band .023 and yes i did a timing advance. You should leave your transfers lower and then move them up. Im curious to see if its better with them down lower

I mean i think its alright but nothing to write home about. Compression is 190. Im wondering about raising the exhaust a few degrees but at the same time i don't want to take away any compression either

Well if your transfers are indeed that low for some reason then youre in a good spot! You can run it where they are now and then move the transfers up gradually and see how it likes it.

Do you then cut the band flat or at a slight taper?

Got the muff mod done. 5/8 id tube. Not the prettiest but its hard to weld this thin steel with a 220v mig. Atleast i didn't burn through i guess. Went with a oem wt194 carb as it has a slightly bigger venturi than the hu40/wt16 carbs and these are good running carbs.

Bridgeless transfer ports on Stihl 026 / 260 oem

I dont know about on those new cylinders you got there but on the old style cylinders after you cut the base/squish 98/118/77 works pretty well

Yeah its thinner than i wanted but this is more or less a test jug. If it works out I'll do another jug the same but do a little less with the exhaust and see what happens

Got the intake done. Didn't lower it as it was where i wanted it. Just widened it a fuzz, smoothed out the tract and matched it to the boot. Also shortened the septum and blended it in. Finished up the exhaust and blended the upper and lower transfers together

i usually finish off the exhaust with 320 grit and a fine buff. I don't polish intakes and transfers. I smooth those off with 120 grit and thats it. Im gonna file .020 off the key

I do when it's a flat top piston. Not with domed pistons as it'll be off a few degrees. In that case i put the piston at whatever number im going for and use dykem and a scribe
