Stihl wants $30 for the grooved side bearing made bt MTN in Japan, a unique bearing. Hutzl started selling the grooved bearing, not sure if they make a good bearing. FAG bearings are great but wish they were the same. for both sides of the crank

Stihl dealer wants $80 but only $32 for a piston and ring kit for my 391? weird. any good source for the 45mm piston and rings ? Never bought Chinese...

thanks for your reply, I was able to see a blue dip spark, timing is right with new key and at this point could it be a scored piston, would that keep a high compression ? Gave it to Stihl to diagnose last week, they Stihl haven't called me back, ha
