Clutch drum - spur to rim?

Thanks Troll  :arg::givebeer: (more beer):yourock: Yes I'm having trouble finding an alternative drum, hence the query. Didn't think there was chisel in NK, but hey it's narrow at least. Will check out the Stihl chain - how does it compare with vxl? What is the RS3 like for bore...

Clutch drum - spur to rim?

I have a solo 637 I want to convert to 325. Probably NK (is there a chisel in 325NK?) What replacement drum/rim will fit? :newbie:

    50:1 vs 40:1

Disagree with 85%. You have gears... Great race though!

    Ms 665 ???

I don't know if this is where it was purchased - just the only reference I can find online.

    Ms 665 ???

You stihl here Troll? To fill you's in; the old man was telling me the neighbor bought one 'special price' over internet - an ms665. That's all I know except I have not heard of a 665 and that is the only site I could find that even mentions that model. Is supposed to cut gum...

why all the short bars on saws in this site ?

Relative to tree size (in my book). Manhood optional! :D No. What length is the cannon on what size tree? Looks close to same size. Nothing wrong with that either of course.

why all the short bars on saws in this site ?

 That be a big tree! What's wrong with a 13' bar? :monkey:

why all the short bars on saws in this site ?

Fixed my post. I meant what's your point? Maybe you misunderstood the context of my quote? Never cut Doug-fir. Pinus radiata or gum or cypress are most prominent bigger trees here.

why all the short bars on saws in this site ?

    Depends. What's the catch?

why all the short bars on saws in this site ?

Yes indeed. You could never cut a tree unless your bar is at least as long as it is wide. Besides, I could never handle anything bigger than my third leg!

    Chain saw with forced induction

Has a centrifugal supercharger with an air box been considered here? Not an exhaust driven turbo. :sucks: No it blows!

i know i might regret this post

Weed eating causes lots of dust. I got FS550 only cos couldn't get big Jonsered or Husqy at the time. Its a great performer until you realise how fast it clogs the air filter. Can't beat that turbo air conditioning.

    Blunt Force Trauma

Well that didn't take long to show up. ;)

    The longest bar

I should not have looked in here ;) Still 22" w/ 9T :chainsaw:

So you've had your chance and you weren't wearing that hardhat; won't happen again now, you're safe! :yoyo:

how stupid does people think i am

Fair enough. It simply comes down to supply and demand; question is whether you wish to supply? But why have two saws for same purpose? You may own both saws outright but only using one at a time means you have capital tied up in a fast depreciating item; that money may be better invested...

    Jonsered Turbo 2094

That was my conclusion; flow down, up, and out. So why the hole in between the two chambers at the top?
