New saw and a dirty bench.

I traded in my 572xp on for this saw with a 25 inch bar. I've ordered an egan straight shot. I've heard there is a problem with the air filter. Has this been resolved by stihl or what can I do to resolve it? What else should I get or be aware of? Thanks.

I got this at about 40. Still waiting for my other 2. This is the 18. I got it at my local saw dealer. I'm sure you can find this online.

I got a new saw. The deal isn't as good as it looks. The dealer owed me 350. Still though if you do the math I came out good with the saw and a 24 bar.

I can't weld. I'm hoping a drill and bit (3/4)? Will be enough. I was thinking of drilling from the exhaust port to the opening. But I don't know if that's enough or not, or molding that way is even effective.

I have a 572 and I'm thinking about doing a muffler mod but I don't know how it should be done. 572 and mod are "to small" to search. Any help would be appreciated.

That was my understanding as well but I didn't argue with him about it. Though oddly enough the saw just started the first pull like it did at the shop 2 days ago. So it seems that priming it does cause an issue for some reason.
