You pretty much have to have MFWD in a smaller tractor. Mine is 47 hp and weighs about 5200 lbs without the loader. Weighs probably 6200 or so with loader and bucket I would imagine. If I get a full load of dirt in the bucket, the back end gets really light. I need to get the rear tires...

I have a tri-blade on my 131R. It is an absolute beast with that on it. It will go through saplings like butter. Love it!

I bought a Black Diamond 30 ton for $899 last fall. Works great, haven't found a round it couldn't split, and it's got a Briggs professional engine on it. Starts first pull every time, runs great, and love it.

We've actually been contemplating getting some just for the fact that the wifey loves fresh eggs. And I know they eat about everything under the sun. So we may have some in the near future.

Craigslist or the Facebook marketplace is an excellent place to look as well if you have FB. Just gotta check often as the good ones don't last long. On my first 361....had it listed for $425, stickers were still all on it, also included chaps and 2 extra chains as well as the plastic case...

Always check CL. Never know when you can find a deal. Found my 361 on there about a year ago, and recently just picked up another 361 just to have and may sell one. God a good deal on both of them. Never know!

Ya, I know it's outside and all, but I know ants can wreak havoc on wood and do some damage if they get too bad. Just don't want my stockpile ruined!

My vote also for the 025. Can pick them up used and in great condition for $200 or less. Bought mine from my aunt after my uncle passed. He had it for 10+ years but took very good care of it. She sold it to me for $50, I gave her $100 cuz I knew it was worth more than that. Great running...

How does everybody keep the ants from invading your piles? I currently have 4 large pallets full of wood to start seasoning. Don't want the ants to destroy it. Any suggestions?

The truck pulling the dump trailer is the biggest issue. 3/4 and up and you are good. They get heavy and have a lot of tongue weight when loaded. I pulled my neighbors' a few weeks ago. It's a SureTrac 14' I believe. Empty it weighs 5000. I loaded it up with some junk wood from my burn...

Ya....gotta get something going for next fall. In the mean time-I’m gonna start cutting and splitting to get some wood for next fall. I have probably a cord that I split last spring so that’ll have a year and a half seasoning at least in it.

The electricity was about $200 and the natural gas was about $338. The month before it was about $160 for electricity and about $210 for natural gas.
