More blue saws from Huztl in November!

It would be nice, if the rubber mounts fit the blue saw. I wonder if they do.

More blue saws from Huztl in November!

What I don't get, is why they left out the anti vibe on the G660, yet the G372 has anti vibe......what the fook! I would jump on the 660 if it had anti vibe, but it don't, so no sale.

    Splined tool

I'm right there with you, I would rather have the right tool, and get it done, then mess around. All the tools I'm seeing are cheap enough to make it a no brainer.

    Splined tool

I need to order a tool to adjust the carb on the 450 rancher. I couldn't find any positive info,, but I think I need the 21 tooth splined tool, can anyone confirm this? I know there is quite a few different ones, including a 22 tooth, so i am unsure. Thanks in advance.

    What would you do?

I pulled the cover off with the brake engaged, then I tried to reset the brake using the wrong tool for the job, the said tool slipped off when it was about 75% to the reset point, and it bent the brake mechanism. I had to buy a new handle because the old one was very chewed up, because i tried...

    What would you do?

    Good, i hope i don't have to.

    What would you do?

I meant to say i may have to replace the handle again, not the brake, sorry for not being clearer. I would have just trimmed the underside of the handle, but where the handle was touching, it was flush with the cover, so removing material underneith would'nt have helped much.

    What would you do?

I ended up trimming about 1/4'' off both the cover and the handle, because of the way the weak part of the handle met the corner of the cover. I think it turned out ok, and the chain brake is now fully functional.

    What would you do?

My battle with my Husky 450s chain break is almost over...but it does just seem like one thing after another. I just got new innerds in my clutch cover, but found a new problem. It seems that my old brake handle's arch that goes over the cover is higher then the arch on the new handle. The new...

Any pointers on how to get my clutch cover off?

I was just messing around. I'm sure it'll be alright, once its fixed, I'll travel down that road if it breaks again.

Any pointers on how to get my clutch cover off?

I'm just messing around, I know its a bad design, and this is my last attempt at fixing it. This thing is either gonna cut wood, or its gonna take a one way trip up the dug road. It ain't no problem 1/2 lbs of tannerite won't solve.

Any pointers on how to get my clutch cover off?

    That's because apparently, I haven't got a-hold of one yet:baaa:

Any pointers on how to get my clutch cover off?

It's a brand new dealership, hasn't even been there for two months. He seems like a good guy. In his defence, they have revisions on that cover, and I have already bought a brake handle off him for a 450 rancher, that didn't fit my saw...because of Husqvarna's revisions. I'm sure he just wants...

I may even get to use this saw sometime:chainsaw:

How so? Come on, it can't be that boring without me o_O

Any pointers on how to get my clutch cover off?

Well, I called the dealer today about a clutch cover. Gave him the part number to the clutch cover, and serial number of the saw. He told me there have been 3 revisions of that clutch cover, and my part number is unavailable. He said he would have to call his rep. I figure that just means one...
