    Chain cleaning

GUNK Original Engine Degreaser. Place the chain on a cookie sheet then liberally spray with GUNK Original Engine Degreaser. Let sit for 30 minutes or so then scrub with a brass or stainless wire brush. Rinse with an all purpose cleaner, dry, sharpen, then spray with WD-40 or PB Blaster.

    Trailer

This is going to hurt...LOL I built the trailer in 1977 to haul 2 motorcycles cross country. The trailer sat from 1980 until 2017 when I decided to resurrect it. This is after I stripped off everything down to the basic frame and a few more in process. AND I got to practice my metal...

Log splitter not starting after running out of gas while splitting

Try a torpedo heater for 5 minutes or so. A few years ago I tried to start my Kubota tractor at -18 and I got a bit fat refusal. I got my propane torpedo heater and faced it at the side of the engine about 8 feet away. I let this run for about 15 minutes then the tractor fired right up...

    Filling the woodshed

For the past 40 years I've stacked my wood on pallets then covered the thing with a 6' x 20' tarp. While this does work, I'm thinking of creating a row of oak pallets then adding a pitched roof, ending up with a "wood shed". This would make life easier..........

    What’s up with this weather??

Weather is for the most part natural and uncontrollable. That said, I've had winters which dip down to -20 and others never seem to get below +20. I've had winters with nearly no snow to others with 110" of snow............. It's like Forest Gump said; "It Happens"...........
