    372xp

Well, bought the 572xp with 24" yesterday. I like it. Not sure about the new style caps. Should a person keep a couple of caps on the shelf?

    372xp

So, is anyone able to confirm that the 372xp is no longer available? Was replaced with the 572xp? Found an online store and they have several 372xp for sale. Confused 🤔. So, now I'm on the fence between those two saws. Which one should I buy? Thank you

    Best firewood handling gloves

Log handling tongs. Started using those and after a while you'll get good enough to manipulate them so you have a set in each hand. Gloves last longer...

    Towing

Do you have a grain scale close to your house? Where you have time and are able to move the product on the trailer? I know it won't be the same everytime, but you should be able to eyeball it where you can use the trailer axle as a fulcrum. It's basically what a WDH does for you. On a flat level...

    Track loader

I have no idea what kind of equipment you have, but did you think about a forklift? Even 3 point mast on rear of a tractor?

    Hydraulic filter

Just took it apart and looked at it. You're both right, the pressure relief on the inside of the filter adapter housing broke. Took it out. It's in the return line, shouldn't be a problem, right? Thanks for the heads up!!

    Hydraulic filter

Thank you. I'll be looking at it again tomorrow. Just weird that it worked yesterday and today...poof.

    Hydraulic filter

I searched and came up with some solutions, but here it goes. 3 point tractor mounted wood splitter. Prince PTO pump runs the splitter. Worked fine for the last several years, just regular maintenance. This morning, hydraulic filter blew off, picked up a new one while in town. Installed it...

    Which add-on wood furnace?

Using the energy king, bought it in 2010 to replace a Bryant. I can't use the boiler type because of the water, and like the forced air better. Like it better than the Bryant.Uses secondary air. No idea how much I burn,I'd guess around 5/6 cord? Pretty much runs from November until March or so...

The cheapest and most expensive Ford 600 of them all.

10' dump bed, holds around 7/7.5 tons of road rock. Usually gross out around 23000/24000. Licensed for 24000. It's amazing how handy that little thing is

    Anyone add a log lift?

Pulley and cable are a pain. I built something similar with pulleys and kept bending. Google what I typed in above and should come up with the similar one I built. Not sure if I'm allowed to attach YouTube videos? 3 point wood splitter with mechanical lift.

    Anyone add a log lift?

Google a 3 point log splitter with mechanical lift on YouTube. Basically the same thing I built.

    Anyone add a log lift?

Mechanical with no extra valves or cylinders. Basically the rod that lifts the worktable is attached to the ram. Then you can pin the table and the rod still moves but independently of the table. I'll see if I can add pictures tomorrow

    Anyone add a log lift?

I used the return stroke on mine to lift the logs. Now mine is a 3 point tractor mount,be careful,a stand alone unit MAY tip.
