What kind of sorcery is inside of this autotune carb?

Never built a saw with autotune before, what is going on with all the electronics inside the carb? What makes it different in build from a regular carb?

    562 case bolts backing out?

I was thinking that myself, considering new bolts also, any chance these could have stretched, or something else wacky possibly is going on?

    562 case bolts backing out?

I’m working on a 562xp which has quit running went to pull it apart and the cylinder head bolts had backed out. I’ve been told this is a common issue, any of you fine folks know about this one, and what the permanent fix is? It’s a good thing this thing has autotune because it looks like that...

    562xp flip?

Yeah classic stuff or just cheap, and random small engines like trimmers etc..I don’t think there’s a trimmer made I can’t fix, chainsaws sometimes present a challenge.

    562xp flip?

I’ve got a buddy who has a 562xp autotune saw that fails to start or even attempt to run. I’m thinking about giving him 100$ for it as long as the case and good and they cylinder isn’t all trashed out. I’m pretty fair at working on saws and small engines, but I’ve never messed with autotune...

    Tree service chainsaws?

I’m kinda wondering if a relatively clean 562xp auto tune is worth the trouble if it’s just fuel system issues. I know zero about this system and personally wouldn’t own one or an m tronic if I had to buy either new but, maybe I’m just biased because I’ve never worked on them.

    Tree service chainsaws?

He’s real religious…he’s a preacher also…lol. When it comes to equipment though maybe not so much. He doesn’t have anything over 4-5 years old that I can tell, including the stuff in the shed that’s not running.

    Tree service chainsaws?

I’ve acquired a new buddy who’s got a tree service and he’s got several dogs in the pound in need of some love (or euthanasia) but he hasn’t really got the skills to do either. He’s more focused on putting wood on the trailer. How long do chainsaws normally last tree services, and what kinds of...

Want to Sell Stihl 362CM Parts

Yeah I was just going off what the guy told me. Once I started tearing into I quickly started to realize that parts for it did not match the saw I have. It’s crazy these guys go through so many saws I guess they really don’t get any attachment to them or keep them long enough to get to know what...

Want to Sell Stihl 362CM Parts

I have a busted up 362 trying to part out has a good cylinder, decent piston, clutch assembly/oil pump, mtronic coil and carb. The PTO case half is busted up but the recoil side and crank still also appear to be salvageable. Any needs let me know I’ll shout you some photos, I’m setup throughout...

    Husqvarna 55 Clutch question?

There’s metal cover against the crank to prevent rubbing but that’s all I see. Is it supposed to have washers somewhere? I bought it second hand so there’s no telling if it ever had them or not.

    Which saw

If I was a stud I’d go after a 60cc for sure but my arms turn to jello after handling anything a 60cc class saw all day. Especially clearing brush

    Which saw

Came here to say this. A 261 should last forever doing what you need it to do, or at least until someone decides to steal it, It’s my go to. If the trees you’re cutting take a 20” bar you’ll be fine, it will handle it on .325 chain all day long. I like the light weight, huge factor when cutting...

    Husqvarna 55 Clutch question?

I’m getting an oldie back online and trying to figure out the clutch. The saw physically runs good, but the clutch makes a pinging noise almost like a bell ringing and it wants to drag chain ever so slightly. I’ve got the idle down about as low as I feel comfortable with and it seems to help a...

    Fuel Mix Colour Change ???

Could be that red armour taking over in that echo saw. It’s blood red almost, pretty much all I run. Love it. Maybe it has some left over from factory or when it was previously ran with it.

70cc saw opinions based on these factors...

How about a 372? I’ve been looking for an excuse to get my grubs on one…only reason I ask.
