Never built a saw with autotune before, what is going on with all the electronics inside the carb? What makes it different in build from a regular carb?

I was thinking that myself, considering new bolts also, any chance these could have stretched, or something else wacky possibly is going on?

Yeah classic stuff or just cheap, and random small engines like trimmers etc..I don’t think there’s a trimmer made I can’t fix, chainsaws sometimes present a challenge.

I’ve got a buddy who has a 562xp autotune saw that fails to start or even attempt to run. I’m thinking about giving him 100$ for it as long as the case and good and they cylinder isn’t all trashed out. I’m pretty fair at working on saws and small engines, but I’ve never messed with autotune...

I’m kinda wondering if a relatively clean 562xp auto tune is worth the trouble if it’s just fuel system issues. I know zero about this system and personally wouldn’t own one or an m tronic if I had to buy either new but, maybe I’m just biased because I’ve never worked on them.

He’s real religious…he’s a preacher also…lol. When it comes to equipment though maybe not so much. He doesn’t have anything over 4-5 years old that I can tell, including the stuff in the shed that’s not running.

I have a busted up 362 trying to part out has a good cylinder, decent piston, clutch assembly/oil pump, mtronic coil and carb. The PTO case half is busted up but the recoil side and crank still also appear to be salvageable. Any needs let me know I’ll shout you some photos, I’m setup throughout...

There’s metal cover against the crank to prevent rubbing but that’s all I see. Is it supposed to have washers somewhere? I bought it second hand so there’s no telling if it ever had them or not.

If I was a stud I’d go after a 60cc for sure but my arms turn to jello after handling anything a 60cc class saw all day. Especially clearing brush

Could be that red armour taking over in that echo saw. It’s blood red almost, pretty much all I run. Love it. Maybe it has some left over from factory or when it was previously ran with it.
