    Husqvarna 50 mfg date?

Can you guys help me with a Husky 50 Rancher date code. Tag reads 6109866. Thanks for the help, looking at it tomorrow but I want it to be able to accept the 51/55 P&C's if its shot, sounds like earlier 50's will need machining to do that? Thanks again

    Craftsman/Roper 3.7

Morning folks, question. BIL dug his Dad's old Sears 3.7 out of the shed while we were there over Christmas. Told him I would work on it and see if we could get it started. Fun challenge. Cleaned it up a bit, dumped some fuel it in and presto! fired right up. P&C are perfect. Then the fun...

    Poulan Engine swap

Good thread, hope you don't mind me resurrecting! So the BIL gave me his 2150 over the holidays to try to get it back running. One of the problems was that the oil pump gear "melted" and locked up. New pump installed and it oils all right, like a West Texas gusher!! Any ideas on how to...

    Husky 55 roached cylinder

Found a Husky 55 to replace one the meth heads around here stole from the shed. Paid a little extra because the saw looked super clean, almost new(2000 model). Ran fine when bought, started to bog/run funny/low power when I got it home. Didn't run it much pulled the muffer, VIOLA!, scored...

    Husky 141 muffler bolts

Hello, FNG here. Long story, had all equipment stolen from shed. Decided to build a small saw while waiting on insurance company. Friend had a junk Husky 141. Has been fun to tear it apart. I know its not a pro saw but I am having fun with it. That's how I found this site! It has a great...
