There is a 020T for sale on the Internet for $25. The connecting rod bearing has failed on it but other than that the saw looks very clean. Any idea how big of a job it would be to fix this? Is this something a guy like Me with very little mechanics experience could fix at a decent price?

Ok thanks I’ll recheck the hose first and ensure it is not cracked. If it is, I guess I’ll have to split the unit and go from there.

When sharpening a chain, what is the acceptable difference in length of the cutters between left and right?

The manual suggest 75 degrees on the unit but when looking at the videos on you tube for the Oregon units, some show it is done at 90 degrees and some others at 60degrees.

When I pulled the diaphragm out to clean it it was a little “dry” but figured I would check and see if cleaning it would be enough. Would a torn gasket or diaphragm cause the pump to deliver more oil to the bar?
