    Runnin' Loads

A couple weeks before the snow and yesterday after a few inches. I know... I know... not much of a truckload but I do all I can in a few hours. It’s great exercise for a messed up back!

Thanks for all the great info on the saw. I had no idea about most of this. I appreciate it!

As I stated in my first post I already bought an incorrect bolt from a hardware store. The saw deserves an OEM bolt and I’m too particular about this saw to not put one in it

Thanks It sure has been a pleasure to own. I guess I bought it early in 92. I was thinking I had bought it in 91 but I was wrong lol I’ll take the hood off tomorrow and post some more pics.

I try and keep my tools in as good of shape as I can. That decal is the original that came with the saw. It sure has been a great saw!

Old trusty, the if you could have only one saw thread, the reply after 6 or 8 years of having only

27 years and still running like a top! The only parts I’ve ever had to replace are ignition coil, plugs, filters, bars and chains. And I need to get a new recoil cover screw. I guess one vibrated out??? My kids will get it when I die. Best saw I’ve ever owned hands down!

Here’s the 262 and the 550. I’ve only cut 2 pickup loads of wood with the 550 and it still has its third tank of gas in it. But so far I really like it. It’s a nice lightweight saw for sure. There are no saw shops or saw dealers anywhere close to me. Ace Hardware has a couple chains, saws, bars...

I bought my 262xp new in 1991 and used it for a few years in SW Colorado where I grew up. Firewood saw...
