Best way to restore oxidized plastics?

The wet, then dry, sanding worked great, brought back the color, will get some polish to finish it up!

Best way to restore oxidized plastics?

Thanks for response. I'm thinking I'll go with the heat gun. Sanding is bringing it back a bit. But not getting it anywhere near pleasing to the eye. Bummer

Best way to restore oxidized plastics?

I like the idea of heating it, helps smooth out scratches and all, but also heard it doesn't stick for too long. We'll see!

Best way to restore oxidized plastics?

Checked out some YouTube videos, but after reading through the comments it seems that every way that folks try, it's failed months after. Wondering anyone's had a successful restorations that's lasted? TIA

Axes... Best bang for the buck

These have both held up nicely for pounding wedges too? No issues with splitting handles or anything? Thanks for the input!

Axes... Best bang for the buck

Looking to buy an axe... Something useful overall. Would be used a lot for pounding wedges for felling. Not necessarily slamming wedges for big ol trees, but the occasional use. Wanting some input on some 'budget' axes perhaps? Or ones folks like more than others at various price points. Thanks...

    441c piston/cylinder replacement troubles

Got carb off, still hooked up to wires and took pictures to not forget placement... head bolts off too. Can't get to the hose clamp (at least that's what's on my other saw) holding it all together

    441c piston/cylinder replacement troubles

I'm thinking there must be something I'm missing... Trying to replace piston and head but can't seem to get to the intake manifold/boot. Am I missing something? Also can't get the carb free. Not used to all the wires and cables on m-tronic. Thanks in advance!

    The famous D jug...

I'm seeing a lot about this "d jug" in the 460s/046s. I'm wondering what's so different about the cylinder, and what kind I've got... If anyone's got pictures that would be awesome. (A D next to an H jug, if I'm correct) but explaination would do fine too. TIA!

That's irritating... Hopefully you can return it and buy more genuine

    Farmertec/off brands?

I've been told that when it comes to pistons, cylinders, any of the more cruicial parts really, you get what you pay for. I'm not gonna risk it...

    Farmertec/off brands?

Good to know. Think I'll give it a shot. Thanks for the feedback!

    Farmertec/off brands?

I'm looking into it a handle/gas tank. Might be nice to have the newer style fuel tank vent too
