How do you decide what your "ride" is?

Traction control-OFF! Best part is my 15yo daughter was driving! 😂

How do you decide what your "ride" is?

My original ride was a 1980 Toyota long bed 4X4. I beat that poor truck like a dirty rug! Soo much fun wheeling that thing! It hauled my MX bikes and took me literally anywhere I wanted to go. As my budget grew the trucks grew, toys grew, trailers grew eventually leading to an LML Duramax. It’s...

Post pictures of your woodpile/splitting area

Splitting a little white oak I scored from a neighbor. Blew down a few weeks ago and he just wanted it gone. Breaks over, get back to work! Hoping it will be usable next winter.

BEST 60cc saw ever built !!!!

For who? Not for me. I’m 49yo and been heating my house primarily with firewood for the last 16 years. I used to cut everything I could find but my back is tired of handling those heavy rounds. Anything larger than 22”dia or so I will leave in the woods. (Unless I’m desperate) Most of what I...

Finally put my Black Friday County Line 25T splitter to work!

Damn that made quick work of my firewood! What usually takes me a week was split snd stacked in a day and a half! I have a question after the first real use though. I heat cycled it a few times before I went all out with it. Varying rpm and splitting some small stuff. Sunday I was splitting...

I have a problem . I'm addicted to old Chevy trucks

How do you feel about old El Caminos? I’ve got a ‘69 SS 396 4spd in mid restoration. Pic is of the day it came home, and the freshly rebuilt 396.

    Log Splitter Recommendations?

Got it with the old screwdriver trick. I just hate doing that. Even with a #3 craftsman through it it took all of my strength to get it off and it spun a 1/4- 1/2 turn before it started to give at all. TSC has pissed me off with this deal. Wouldn’t be so bad but David at TSC was kind of a prick...

Any tips on getting the factory filter off? F’er might as well be welded on there!

What are your must carry maintenance items when you go cutting

Toilet paper, Kahr PM9, water, first aid kit, shovel, ear pro, chaps, eye pro, gloves, Fuel, bar oil, scrench, file, spare chain, bar nuts, spark plug, phone... I think that’s it. I carry two saws, the 361 and the 024 but the 024 has never been run except for working around the house and...

BEST 60cc saw ever built !!!!

Can’t believe this thread is still going! Guess I might as well post an update, the ms361 is still the prince of saws and king of the 60cc class! :p Seriously though, 15 years, countless chains, 3 bars, and a couple sprockets and still going strong!!! Not a single issue, still starts and runs...

So you fired it up and ran it wide open from the start? Just changed the oil a few extra times?

Man I didn’t want to ask this here but I can’t find the answer anywhere so here it goes... Do you guys do anything special during break in on these little Koehler engines? I see other manufacturers have various recommendations but nothing from Koehler. Only an initial oil change at 5 hours. Does...

    Log Splitter Recommendations?

Let me know how it does. I mostly cut and split Doug fir with a bit of occasional Maple thrown in. It splits pretty easily, I’m sure my largest rounds (26”) will be no problem for the 25t.

I got the 25t from TSC. They loaded it in the back of the truck for me and I unloaded it at home with the tractor.

So I’m guessing if I disconnect the return line from the filter but leave the high pressure line attached to the pump I would not be able pull fluid through the pump cycling the cylinder by hand? I’ll just have to disconnect and drain both lines. Then prime the pump after reconnecting...

TSC offered me a few gallons of fluid so I could change it out. I’m going to ask for a filter as well. I was thinking about how to get as much of the old fluid out as possible. I think I after draining and refilling the reservoir I will disconnect the return line from the filter head and run the...

    Log Splitter Recommendations?

Yup, there is a hole in the side of the fill plug. Probably didn’t get a significant amount of water in there but the fluid in that tube sure looks like it had water in it. Think I’ll call TSC tomorrow and see what they suggest. This one will be under cover when not in use so I’m not too worried...

Where would I find the tank vent? I looked it over pretty close, even looked in the manual and didn’t find it.

So I ran the new splitter for the first time today and noticed that the hyd fluid in the clear tube from the hyd res to the pump is milky. I’m not sure if it was that way before I started it but it’s definitely that way now. Is it possible there was air in the system that’s working it’s way out...
