Finally got around to getting some white oak milled. I let this one sit a lot longer than I meant to. I still got some decent pieces though.

I started radishes early this year and have been getting some nice ones every few days. Did a four foot row of French Breakfast and Scarlet Globes.

A weeks worth. Turkey eggs on the left and Maren chicken eggs on the left. Would have had 5 more turkey eggs but they get stepped on by the Tom sometimes. I thought there was more chicken eggs, my wife said she gave a dozen away.

My last find in Indiana before returning home. Didn’t have a lid but for $35 I couldn’t pass it up. Very good condition for being from the1920’s.

Found a pretty nice 5 from the 1920’s for $40 today.

Wow those cost more than the old ones and you don’t get to hunt for them in antique stores or estate sales.

Found this brush axe at an estate sale today for $25. Handle isn’t right but it’s ok, condition of the head is the best I’ve ever found.

Still getting a good variety of peppers. Have another bowl full to pick tomorrow night of just red rocket cayennes.

Got a good mixed batch of everything I planted. Can’t wait till next month when the scotch bonnets really go nuts!

Been outta town working for weeks, wife hasn’t picked any peppers. I got a bunch of Zapotecs that turned that will make great taco sauce.

2 pounds of jalapeños, cayenne and a few paprika peppers. Going to make taco sauce!

Zapotec Jalapeños are starting to ripen. Gonna be a good year for them as the plants have done well with the heat compared to other varieties.

So I smoked the Hyros paprika peppers for a couple hours and then dehydrated them. Made about four tablespoons of ground paprika.
