Husky 163 help needed from you wise folk

We have a client wanting parts for a vintage 163s. This is a saw a tad before our time and upon research have found 2 models the 163s and 163cd. If you would be so kind, I would like to know about any/all significant differences between the two so we don’t end up getting the wrong parts (eg...

I have repaired the saw and am planning to sell (either on here if anyone wants it or on ebay) What sort of money should i be asking? Should i sell as powerhead only...

    Makita DCS9000 misfire recoil HELP

We have this jinxed saw in our workshop. Needed a new ignition coil which we installed but now everytime we come to start it it nearly breaks your fingers by seemingly recoiling due to firing to early. Any much needed help would be greatly appreciated guys! Sent from my SM-G973F using Tapatalk

    Sachs Dolmar Chainsaws Thread

Been playing with this baby today. One of the benefits of selling saws is the sheer variety that come through, and I’m sure you’d agree I’d be a fool not to try as many different saws as possible. Was really impressed with SD and this 119, quite a torquey engine, felt great putting it through a...

Sure is quiet in here....do I need to start a fight?

Looked like it had been stored in a swamp. Hoped to have the saw going by end of day. No chance, left it soaking overnight. Should have an update tomorrow or day after. Thankfully the carb and P/C were still in decent condition. The anticipation is now killing me.

    Jonsered Chainsaws

So the J’Red 2156 finally got delivered today. Bad omens begin when you see that the bar is hanging out the box. Was in an appalling state. Needed to be stripped (sorry no other pics, was far too embarrassing). The second pick is after 2 hours in a bath and still looking dreadful. One of the...

    "You Suck" Thread 2019--Pics required!

Does this qualify as suckage? New B/C for all cost about another £90. Already sold 1 200tc and 1 170 and made my money back. The rest will be a happpy bonus :)

    Jonsered Chainsaws

In all honesty I don’t think they are as highly sought after over here. I’d happily ship all over the world, as long as customers are happy to pay shipping.

    Jonsered Chainsaws

I had planned to eBay it like you suggested. I was just looking for an indication of a reasonable start price, I hate letting them run from £0.99. The saw came to us for free so, bar a bit of labour and B/C any profit should be decent. The only sticking point however is I think the guy I work...

    Jonsered Chainsaws

Haha this truly made me laugh. I doubt I’d keep this (I’ll never say never) but do like fixing up some of these old saws and running them for a bit before selling them to serious collectors who covet them. Truly the one saw I regret selling was the 346xp in my picture. Put so much work into it...

    Jonsered Chainsaws

Hey guys, out of the blue, the bloke I work with rocked up to the shop today with a 920 he “just found” at home. Most of the bits are there and the p/c look great. My question is what do you reckon the value of a running one of these is? The saw is a fair bit before my time so I’ve got no real...

    Archer bars and chain.

Bought 3 bars for various saws. No problems yet. Had their 10inch on a 200T and it cut like a dream.

    Jonsered Chainsaws

You just have to keep looking in “parts or not working” and the “used” sections, sometimes they don’t take them correctly. I’m sure I found this by just searching for “jonsered” To be honest I’m glad you didn’t find it, would not like to have got into a bidding war ;)
