    455 or the 460?

So I'm going to purchase another chainsaw. I'm leaning toward a Husky 455 but am also considering the Husky 460. Is it worth scaling up to the 460, or are the 2 models mostly the same other than the 5cc difference?

    Husky 240 & white smoke

I emptied the tank, let it idle until it died and then put a new mix in and it has stopped smoking. The chain does move freely by hand.

    Husky 240 & white smoke

So I went to use my Husky 240 chainsaw today that is about a year old and it started just fine no issues. However, when I would push the throttle white smoke came out. So I started it and let it idle at high speed for about 30 seconds and no smoke came out. But when I pressed the throttle it...

    Echo 310 14" to 16" bar?

My dad has a Echo CS-310. He currently is running a 14" bar on it and he asked me if he could run a 16" bar on it. However, since its only a 30.5cc engine could it run a 16" bar and chain effectively?

    Husky 240 bouncing around

No, of course not. I simply wanted to know if it was normal or if it was an indication of an issue. In this case, the screws were loose which was an issue that could be fixed. :)

    Husky 240 bouncing around

Thank you. Both screws needed a little tightening hopefully that lessens the vibration.

    Husky 240 bouncing around

Today I bought a Husky 240 for $90. I saw it on clearance and couldn't resist. I got it home and used it for about 10 minutes then set it down and holy moley it was bouncing and vibrating around like a mexican jumping bean after an energy drink. So I turned it off and am quite perplexed Is...

    Chain for Remington 20 in.

I am looking for a replacement chain for my 20" Remington. I currently use the Orgeon H78 chain but wondered what other chains would be recommended. I mainly cut birch and the occasion hardwood (maple, ash, oak). I will be cutting wet and dirty wood as well. I want to buy another so I have a...

    Chainsaw starting question

So whenever I start my Remington Outlaw (46 cc, 20" bar) chainsaw for the first time that day the chain spins super fast, like full speed and continues to run at full speed until I press the throttle. I tried to use the chain brake for this simply because I didn't like it spinning so fast...

    Remington Outlaw Question

Can you recommend a good 20" replacement chain? Keeping in mind I will be cutting mostly wet or dirty soft woods like birch and spruce. Thanks.

    Remington Outlaw Question

So I just bought my first chainsaw (Remington Outlaw with a 20 in. bar) a few days ago. Used it for awhile and cut at least a dozen trees from 6" to 24" mostly Spruce and Birch. So far I'm pretty happy with it. Starts well and idles well. It's pretty heavy but I'm sure I will get used to it. I...
