    My wife doesn't understand.

this will be my last vent on the topic but she is always complaining about the twp we live in. she grew up here and doesn't like the people, doesn't like the rural setting, likes the diversity of the city etc... I'm not sure why they moved here

it works really well actually. mine doesn't have the auxiliary oil cooler either and even during the summer running it all day the temps stay in a normal range. if i were in the South is get the oil cooler but i don't think it's necessary here in Ohio. plus I'm not using it strictly for...

    My wife doesn't understand.

I'm having my property surveyed right now to avoid any future issues with her. i let a good family friend hunt our property and she wasn't happy with that either, or the fact i shoot my guns in the back either.

    firewood conveyor question

so I checked over everything again today and found that i had overfilled the oil on the new predator motor when i installed it so it wasn't running properly. got the level down and tested it out and it runs the conveyor good. I wouldn't be surprised if that old briggs ic motor was down to or...

    My wife doesn't understand.

I texted my neighbor today to let him know I was going to be in the woods this week cutting up a bunch of fallen oaks from the storms this past year and if I could cut the ones that had fallen on his property. He said sure no problem, I even offered him a few cords of firewood. His wife called...

    Firewood Processor Recommendations

I don't think those will do much good. The dyna has a textured push plate and crooked logs can still ride up. Won't hurt I guess.

    used firewood processors

from what I've heard dyna has an agreement in place with the shops that rent them. they are often pulled out of service around 700hrs, go back to the factory get refurbished then put up for sale. that's why you see most of them for sale around 7-900hrs

    firewood conveyor question

just don't do anything to aggressive that would pull the wood back after it's split.

    firewood conveyor question

so if mine doesn't have the flow control and the line goes directly from pump to valve it just meant the engine was not strong enough. the 6.5hp replacement is running it a lot better and not bogged down like the original 5hp was. i like the valve because i can control direction of the...

Evolution of forestry in Sweden (100 years or so..)
