I should have mentioned that it was a 55 kit. It didnt come with a plug so I grabbed one that came with a hyway kit. It did have the 2 washers on it. It's a plug not a valve.

I put a new Farmertec P&C on a Husqvarna 51. I fired it up last night and adjusted the carb but noticed after I went to put it up that there was oil around the decomp plug. Its tight but appears to be leaking around the threads. Is there a sealant that will hold up to the heat?

Hmmm. I ordered a top end kit from Hutzl on 03-15. Got a shipping email on the 17th. According to tracking, its still in China. I may break down and order a different kit.

I bought a 55 top end a week or so ago. We will see if it comes in.

I dont think it matters what brand as long as it is a good oil. I usually run Stihl oil myself until I was given a bunch of Echo Red Armor last year for free. It's got fuel stabilizer already in the oil which is nice. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G891A using Tapatalk

It was the carb. Something happened inside it and when you tried to open the throttle, the top lever did not raise up enough to clear the carb screws. The new on rises up as it opens and clears. Fired right up with a replacement carb.

Went to start the blower and it will start with choke but I can never get it to take throttle or come off of choke. This happened all of the sudden. Started and worked perfectly one week and the next this? My wife or myself use this regularly so I dont think bad fuel is the problem. The fuel...
