Yeah I’ve used a little oil in the past or get it through. Just had no idea of the size as there was no lines on it It took me awhile to even find were it went into the tank.

    Fuel line size

Thanks. Didn’t know making it slightly bigger was a possibility. Also what’s a good cheap fuel filter for these? I’m going to order some today as soon as I get the chance.

    Fuel line size

So if I drill it out it will fit the bigger line and still fit snug on the carb

    Fuel line size

Yeah it’s the smaller line. Found a piece in the ones tank and it was written on the size.

    Fuel line size

I just picked up two saws. Both husqvarnas ones a 142 and the other a 41. Both need new fuel lines as they are broken off inside the tank. What size line is this? I have searched but can’t seem to find it. Thanks

    Walbro Carb

Thanks Sam finally got to mess around with it. Got it to idle run and now cut. The tach made it so much easier to do.

    Walbro Carb

I dont think its an airleak, pretty sure its just my setting up of the carb. Tach is on order, My wifes uncle said he would help me with it and hes good with small carbs. Just need to learn them without blowing anything up LOL

    Walbro Carb

it idles ok maybe a little rough going to mess with it more when i get some time. It dies almost completely out after 2-3in of cutting and when you pull it out and throttle it slightly goes back to idle. I have not done a vacum/ pressure test i dont have anytthing to do it with.

    Walbro Carb

So I was able to find a crab on eBay. Ordered it this am and when i got home my wife says the neighbor dropped this off and hands me a carb that he had from an old weed eater that was the same. So I put it on got the main idle set now to try and get it dialed in. Thought I had it once but died...

    Walbro Carb

So sears finally delivers the carb after I told them to cancel. It’s an mtd Carburetor 753-06728 hoping it’s compatible with my saw. Looks similar on the outside.

    Walbro Carb

That would be awesome. I found a used one on eBay looked ok in pics so put an offer on it. But new would probably be better.

    Walbro Carb

Well sears sucks at shipping parts, the carb is a walbro wt463 anyone know a replacement for this as it is no longer made. Does the MTD Carburetor 753-06728 work?

    Walbro Carb

Checked the screw and no where in it’s travels does it contact the throttle. Almost looks like the shaft is bent on the end.

    Walbro Carb

Well got to mess with it some. Think the main idle is shot. No matter what I did didn’t change idle. If sears ever sends the replacement I’m changing it out.

    Walbro Carb

Thanks for the info. Got it to idle now to try and get it dialed in. I suck ar adjusting carbs

    Walbro Carb

    Walbro Carb

If you goose the throttle it does nothing dies immediately either way. I turned the adjustment screws in and then back out 1.5 turns, and the main idle screw is 4 turns out. It seems as though as soon as the gas in the carb is burned off it dies almost like its starving for fuel. The fuel filter...
