    Huztl MS660

I bought one on Amazon a while back for $260 that was assembled with bar, chain and handle. Just had to attach handle, bar and chain. That sucker flies every bit as good as my neighbors Stihl 066.

Any one use dryer lint to start fire?

YES. My favorite outdoor firestarter for wet weather is a cardboard egg carton, put lint into each egg place, then melt wax from an old candle on top of them. Each egg place will start a fire in wet weather.

    Holzfforma Bars and Chains

I just got the 660 clone yesterday (blue, not kit). I thought I'd be tossing the bar and chain for the Stihl roller, which I see on Ebay for $99, bar and chain. Been working 16 hour shifts, so couldn't put it together yet. Tomorrow is the big day. Glad I can at least cut with the Holzfforma bar...

Want to Sell Olympyk 264F Deluxe - 60cc class

That's how I got mine for $100. Older gent who wanted to buy a newer saw with pressure release. Wish this one had it; but it's a cuttin' fool of a saw. Runs like as top.

    Scrounging Firewood (and other stuff)

That's how I roll, too. My backyard looks like a tree graveyard. Buzz it up and/or split it right by the woodpile. Buck it up. I'm only about 1 year ahead; but most of what I fall is already dead; often barkless. Give it a year and it heats hot. I go through about 5 full ones per year, though. I...

    Jonsered 621 bar oiler

Hey, thanks. Like I said, best saw ever made, IMHO. Never had a problem with ANT part on this saw. Good: fuel, air and spark and she's firing up. I think I'm going to sell my Oly 264f Deluxe and put it towards a Chinese G660 ($300 for a pseudo 066, amazing). Not that the Oly has been at all...

    Jonsered 621 bar oiler

Yeah, Winsconsin! I own a 621 and it is the only saw I could never part ways with. You got it right, bud. You remind me that mine could use a good cleaning. Once it's yours, you'll be the proud owner of possibly the best saw ever made. I have never had one single problem with mine. Good gas and...

What do you guys think about Olympyk chainsaws?

I have a 264F and have cut mucho wood with it. Fast saw, easy to work on, cuts the hell otta wood. That said, I have enough flippin' saws; so, I might sell my 264F, reluctantly. Not a big Stihl fan, but I like their bigger saws (660 is what I'm shooting for). The Oly will be faster than the...

    Scrounging Firewood (and other stuff)

Depends on what you want to do. I see oodles of 4x4 driving around cities with never a need for the 4x4. Waste of fuel, really.

    Scrounging Firewood (and other stuff)

I find the day the a nearby lake association, with big wooded lots, has their brush pickup days and there's usually larger pieces to be found. I also go the dump, where people dump off their brush and find plenty to cut. Last year, I found a guy near me on Craigslist just looking to get rid of...

    New Echo saws everywhere

If it looks too good to be true, it probably is.

    CRAFTSAVARNA!

Sheesh. What the heck was the clutch made out of? Never heard of even the crappiest saws clutch fizzin' first day. 'Course, that saw is made to cut burdocks.

    Chain for Jonsered CS2240?

I mistakenly bought that RS chain (18) and it fit my old J'red by chance; and I love that chain.

    Jonsered CS2240

I can get a new "refurbished" one for $130. I'm a J'red guy, my favorite saw being an old 621; but is this new J'red worth even that? If it needs a little love I have a very reasonable pal who works magic on saws. Would you buy a CS2240 for $130 refurnished?

    pine tree firewood?

I only use it in my firepit. I have a good sized indoor burner (takes a 36" log) and I hate burning pine. Too much hassle, too little heat. I live in WI, though, and need real heat when heat is needed.

    Fiskars Axe is junk!!!!!

I just hated the handle when I picked it up. No go.
