Does anyone run this stuff? I use to run 100ll that I got from the airport I worked at. You had to retune your saws thou. It lasted longer then pump gas. This isn't an oil thread but gas. Maybe in a hot saw. Just thinking?

Try a husky 281. Pull it until it's right past tdc and give a good pull. I still have the scar trying to start my 281.

I just like the sound of the reed valve engines. That 041 kept us warm for many years. My dad brought it new in the 80s. My first saw I rebuilt. I'm impressed with 405 for sure. Looking for an old echo to go with it.

Well I got a chance to put in some big red oak yesterday, man it pulled that 24 just fine. My Stihl 271 didn't have the balls like these old reed valve engines. Kinda like my 041. Me likes.

Me to it was a tight fit for sure. I haven't ran the saw with the bar on it. I'm just going to file the slot to make it fit. It's a good running saw, sounds mean. It pumps oil fine. Mm how do you like these saws?

Just picked this up and he said it not oiling right. It came with almost new woodlanpro timbermax bar with the number wptm 24 hu50 f8 stamp on it. I had to pry the bar off because it was tight on the the studs. The saw runs and pumps oil. I think the bar is wrong. In my research I did not find...
