    I figured it was a breather of some sort. I will rebuild the oiler this weekend and make sure it is put together correctly. Definitely won't be cracking open the crank case. I may replace the tubes in the oil tank, they where pretty hard. I'll post my results when I finish.

    Thanks for the response. There is a tiny cotter pin on the top of the oil reservoir it leaks oil while the saw is running hard. while the saw is running hard. it also leaked gas when I flushed the tank. I know from experience how hard that tube is to get back in places, as I tied to clean it...
