    Stihl 026 crank seals

    Thank ya sir!

    Stihl 026 crank seals

I guess I should have clarified, I removed the snapp ring and it had a seal that easily came out but was nowhere near the same size as what came in the package. There was a pressed on seal down deep but it didn't look anything similar to what came in the package...

    Stihl 026 crank seals

I ordered a set of crank seals for my 026 and received them yesterday. The flywheel side was perfect and easily went in. The clutch side seal wasn't the right seal. After you remove the clutch, you have a seal with snap-ring attached to it. Can anyone point me in the right direction to what I need?

If You Could Only Have One Chainsaw Forever...

For me that would be a 60cc saw because it's big enough for most wood and yet light enough to run all day, so my 562XP would be is. But the most favorite saw I have to run is my Echo 2511T. It's my favorite saw of them all.

Stihl ms 170 vs ms 250

I would buy an Echo ANY day before I bought a new Stihl home owner saw.

    Tractor saw mount

Needing to put a mount on my Kubota so I can haul a chainsaw around on it. Anyone have advice on a mount that would attach to the loader brace?

    When to Mod?

I have not ran a 35cc TH saw before. Just like Mad3400, I bought the 2511 and swapped on an Egan performance straight pipe which claims via dyno (IIRC) a 27% increase in power. Mine has a 12" bar on it and it is absolutely my favorite saw to run, - and I own a few newer pro saws. It is an...

    When to Mod?

What made you choose the 355 over the 2511? The 2511 is such a fun saw to use and a beast for it's size IMO.

    Best Echo Chainsaw

I have the 590 and have for well over 10 years and it's cut a ton of wood. But my favorite Echo is bar none, the 2511T. What a screaming little saw.

Needing a skidder winch for my tractor

As the title says, I am needing a skidder winch for my tractor. The problem is, I can't find one around me and it seems everywhere I look, it's a long lead time to arrive. Anyone ever built one, or know of any in stock?

    Purchased a new 562XP yesterday

Hopefully the part prices and availability have/will come down eventually. Nothing worse than having a saw you can't get parts for. I have several saws though, so I don't have to reply on just one. I bought the 550 a couple years ago and thought the 562 would be fun to play with too.

    Purchased a new 562XP yesterday

I plan to buy another muffler and mod it myself. This way, if I need warranty work done, I can swap the factory muffler back on. I modded the muffler on my 261CM and on my 372 and it made a world of difference. I do have a bad back so I may run the 24" as much as possible A lot just depends on...

    Purchased a new 562XP yesterday

Mainly gonna be a cleanup saw for the tons of felled trees, tops, and mess that the loggers left behind.

    Purchased a new 562XP yesterday

Mine came with a 24" bar and I really can't see me needing much larger than that. I wanna play around with the 18 and 24 and see which one feels and cuts the best and then spend money on the high end bar. I think in the next week I am going to pick up maybe an Echo 2511T to go along with this...

    Purchased a new 562XP yesterday

Ordered an 18" bar and couple of powercut chains for it yesterday. I just did a cheap Oregon Power Match bar but I am eye balling a Sugi Hara bar for it just undecided on what length I want it in yet.

    Purchased a new 562XP yesterday

I needed something now, I have a lot of work to get done before deer season hits in the fall. What crapped out and why so expensive? I rebuild my own saws so parts is all I'm looking at.
