    Rayco 1625 belt woes

Sorry. Don't have a clue. That was many years ago and I'm not even in the business anymore. I do remember it being very hard to keep tight enough to keep from slipping.

    Planing slabs with a router.

I would have to cut on the return path on the side closest to me to get the router to cut the correct way. It was just too much travel to do that. Since that slab, I have stared taking smaller bites so that I can do just what you asked. I'll do like 1/4 of the slab at a time cutting in both...

Been milling some more in the HEAT!

Wow. Haven't been on here in a long time. Was looking at some of my old posts and found this one. I am actually in the process of finishing it into a head board for our King size bed. I'll have more pictures of it when I finish but here is at least one:

What are you building with your milled wood? merged

Next, I wanted to build another one for my 2 year old daughter. This time I wanted to make use of some of my red oak slabs. I used my slabs for the sides of the stairs and for the toy box. The rest if the wood was red oak that I bought from Home Depot. I left the natural edge on the stair...

What are you building with your milled wood? merged

So a few months ago I built a loft bed out of just some plain pine for my 4 year old daughter. It came out great and she loves it. Even has toy box up top. Stained with a light color and then about 6 coats of Polycrylic. Continued in next post.

New signs on my stumpgrinding trailer

Nice signage! I was going to say that you REALLY need one on the back of the trailer if you don't have one. Glad you got one on the back. That's the one that the people stopped behind you can see. :)

I work as a signal maintainer for the railroad. I was just given a temp truck to replace my old one that was decommissioned. This one is a 04 Chevy crew cab 2wd with the 6.0. I don't remember if its a 2500 or a 3500. Single rear wheel because it has the high-rail gear to allow me to ride the...

    Quick trailer/hauling question

Breaking is a pretty big deal with anything you drive down the road. So is BRAKING! :) Bigger size? Pintle hitch? You must have missed the part where he said he is using a Tacoma. My 6x12 dump trailer was about 2,500 pounds EMPTY. Most of the rental places that I used to use wouldn't even...

I'm thinking about selling my Alaskan mill and my 394XP. Moved and don't really have any place to cut or any means to move logs any more.
