Is it me, or is the Stihl crank seal puller tool junk?

I was told by a member here the best way to use that tool is to "tap" the seal all the way around with a punch, then remove the seal. The punch will break the seal loose from the case and then you can remove it easier. He was right.

    Southern yellow pine

    MS 880 Given to Me

After removing the flywheel, crankshaft, and the crank bearings, I was pleasantly surprised. All rotating mass appears good. Crank main bearing shows no indication of wear beyond normal and the endplay is not even able to be felt. The bearings appear to be okay, considering their age. FEA...

Also: https://www.fieldfisher.com/en/services/intellectual-property/intellectual-property-blog/cutting-through-the-issues-colour-trade-marks-and Nice picture of the colors Stihl apparently trademarked at the time (in 2008). Stihl did indeed get a trademark for the color combination as...

A "Saw Safety" Thing most wouldn't consider

Yeah, PPE pants are a better idea for sure, but the chaps fit the bill of "better than nothing" for most. That was a great video, thanks for posting that up.
