Just picked up a 3300, sears 3.3, and a 3000 all running and cutting for a price to good to pass up. Problem is the 3000 has no air filter. Anyone know where I could find one? I'd even consider a parts saw if it had a useable filter.
Thank yall
I've read that one. I'm afraid I'll buy what looks like a pretty decent condition saw and there will be a diaphram or something in It bad that I can't find. I definitely wouldn't want to buy a 1 2 3-10 and have to use 10-10 tanks and air filter covers on them
I was joking. It's a YouTube video. I like all the name brands as long as they work. Except for the Forney stuff. I've got a wire feed that works fine but replacement parts like liners and what not are tough/impossible to find in a pinch
I love it and Heatin and Beatin.
The lotus I had would stick weld great. The high freq didn't work in the tig side so I sent it back. I like the inverter units personally. Smaller footprint in the shop and a lot have dual voltage input. I do a lot of onsite welding at work and some on the side...
Lincoln was built to support the national power grid.
Miller was built to power Liberace's blow dryer
But definitely buy American if you have the money
I second the everlast opinion. Lots of models to chose from and the ones I've ran have been great machines. I primarly used the stick feature but have played with the tig. Local high performance machine shop lays some nice aluminum beads with his
So according to Mike acres site a pm 55 has a chrome bore and a 10-10s has an iron bore. I saw earlier someone said the 57cc saws were all chrome I think. Who is correct? My spare cylinder is in good shape but below the ports on each side it's darker but very smooth. Is that normal?
I don't know man. That's why I asked. It seems to me that they'd work fine. They're the same thickness as the good rings I have and honestly to the naked eye they're exactly the same. I'm probably going to use them when I need them.
This may sound really stupid but would the .005 difference hurt anything once the end gaps were filed to spec? That's if they're the same thickness as the correct rings
