    Red cedars in Tennessee

Question: I have some 30’ red cedars that have all their bulk at least 20’ off the ground. If I take the tops out of these guys, will they fill in lower down? I’d like to save them, prune or trim them toact as a privacy hedge if I can get them to “Bush out” down low. Will it work?
