Has anyone bored out the carb for a Stihl 361? Going to doa muffler mod and was thinking "Hey, why not open the carb too". Can it be done?:rock:

Does anyone do mods for the 361? if it was shipped to them? Not that I can't sorta do it myself, but if someone is already masteered it I would not be ashemed of using the knowlegde a greater man may have. I would hate to reinvent the muffler. Any suggestions?

How much Hp does the 361 have? US site says 4.4 bhp and Great B. says 4.6 bhp. Is the difference just in tuning or is there something more.

What drives a man to have more saws then he can use? I already have a MS361 ,but yearn to try more. I must be crazy. A husky 346xp sounds like fun :chainsaw: . All of the wood I cut goes to pay my saws and other toys. Oh well, it beats watching tv in the winter.

When adjusting carb is it always true that turning either screw CW will lean the mixture for that operating point (i.e. high or low). Are all two strokes the or does each carb have different adjustments.

Ok, thanks for the input. Here's what I'm looking at. Husky 350/353 and the J-red 2150/2152. General use and trimming, probably a 16 or 18" bar. Any suggestions and reasons why.

Riddle me this folks. I'm looking for a new +-50 cc saw. I run Stihl, but was thinking of adding a Jonsered or a Husqvarna. Are there any differences besides color? Thanks
