    Depends on your frost line. If I recall we went about 32" maybe 36" and I think our frost line is 18" - 20" in our county. Not sure you can go to deep?

    How cold is your house in the morning?

    He He, and who would that be? We keep our stat at 71 at night and during the day if not home, if home 72-73 during the day. This is obtained very easily with my Hardy H2 OWB.

    CL 5036 up and running

    I always try to burn seasoned wood in my OWB, but on cold nights (below 10) I always throw in a few solid pieces of greener wood, tends to burn a little slower and longer. I also have no neighbors close. Congrats on that 5036, my BIL just got one a month ago, he loves it.

    Good Looking ASH.... I would agree, I love splitting ash by hand, so easy and nice to split with one hit. Congrats on your haul though, great story.

    Wood shed for OWB finally finished

    We have a neighbor that put his OWB inside a shed type building, been running it that way for 20+ years. His wood stays dry, and he just dumps his wood cuttings on the weekend. Nice, Nice, Building... Congrats.

    I got the 270C saw with a 20" .325 bar and chain. I use it more than my 361 and other saws, light and easy to use A/V. I love it.
