    Dolmar 116 parts

I've got a 116i also. Sure would appreciate if anyone had a source for air filter too. Anyone ever try to order any parts directly from Dolmar in Germany? They have a .pdf catalog on their website but will have to check to see if they offer filters. It helps if you can read Deutsch.

    Opinions on John Deere J3816

eyolf, been following this thread. Pretty interesting stuff. Pretty good scrap for a while. Your story made me reminisce about when I was growing up. My granny cooked with a wood stove. My uncle would usually initiate getting up firewood by firing up an old Pioneer on a Saturday morning...

Which brand do you turn to for stress relief?

Do you add Husqvarna and Jonsered together to make Electrolux?? If so, they may have a chance to out-poll Stihl. Doggone, Fish; you beat me to the punch.

    Shindaiwa Chain Saws

Steve, let me know how you make out. I'm trying to get momma to let me spend a few dollars. She thinks you shouldn't need more than one saw. She wouldn't believe all of the addicts found here. Well, good luck and be careful.

    Shindaiwa Chain Saws

tundraotto, if you look closely at the site, the head of the columns are offset on that row. The 488 goes with the 47.9 cc specs. It confused me at first too.

jonsy 2149T vs. shin 488 vs. husky 55/346

Thanks for the reply Huskyman. Yes, new saw. I priced some 026 Stihls in the area but they are high!!! I've got to go play in Louisiana for a few weeks and that shoul give me time to mull it over. I sure enjoy this website, especially all of the verbal sparring about brands and models...

jonsy 2149T vs. shin 488 vs. husky 55/346

OK, men of vast knowledge and humor. I've been viewing these posts for some time and shopping around. I cut wood part time, mostly oak, and would like to get some feedback on these saws. I want a saw that will last. I paid $50 for a little used Shindaiwa 345 and its done pretty good for a...
