Could I get at 455 rancher service manual please?

You can 'gently' pull the plastic tabs out...just a little...to pull the limiting tabs off the needle valve spline. Rotate the limiter clockwise about a half turn without moving the needle valve, and gently push the limiter tab back on the spline. Rotate the limiter counter clockwise the 1/8...

As far as the chain flying off, all new chains will stretch, and you will need to stop the saw and make the proper tensioning adjustments to accommodate. There are techniques that can be helpful, like lifting up on the nose of the bar while tightening the bar studs will help. As others said...

I haven't cleaned any saw yet... My 6 year old daughter did wipe down the bar on my 575 the other day when I was bolting the muffler back on. Does that count?:)

I have the same chain on my 455 for a while now, I sharpen the chain every time I fill up, and file the depth guages when they need them. I use a 6" bastard mill file and lower them down, it looks goofy, but works well with the weird raker.

I have used mine not too often, but when it is needed, it is indispensable. :cheers:
