    Need Ideas

I use surplus autoparts shipping baskets. The good thing about the metal baskets as I can stack them 3 high with my equipment. Sizes very but I like the 54x54x48 baskets.

How Often Do You Add Water?

Far too much check your blader on top of the stove..... Also make sure your weighted ball on the roof of the stove is sealing to the pipe. Heatmor designed the stove to run at 2 psi to stop loss of water my stove needs a top off fill about 1 time a year.

    Compressed wood bricks

Anyone tried the ECO bricks or other compressed sawdust bricks? I'm considering making a big investment to start production of this type of fuel wood, however I would like to know how the everyday burner feels about the product. Mark

do you own woods or scrounge

I own 40 in northern Michigan about 100 miles from my primary residence. I have to consider the cost of hauling wood that far vs getting locally. I do both even with the cost of hauling because I would rather burn wood then letting it rot on the ground in my woods.

    Black Walnut help please

If you laminate the treads they will be stable and cheaper. There is really no need to use a 3" slab of Walnut for each tread.

    Owb brands?

Heatmor!....I have 8 years on mine and still love it. Watch you line sizes and make sure they have great insulation and O2 barrier.

Changing out the water in your OWB?

Leave the water alone....As far as the chemicals go only the water evaporates not the chemicals....So unless you spill or leak water no need to add anything.

Outdoor Wood Boiler Users. And Everyone Else.

My heatmor runs best at 165 to170 in winter best wood saving idea I found was to reduce chimney outlett to 3" dia. rather than mess with water temp. If you run cooler than 165 to170 you will have buildup issues with most boilers. Mark
