    Duluth fire hose flex pants

I've tried two pair. Wasn't really that impressed, they didn't seem to hold up any longer than any other heavy duty work pant. I still like my arborwear the best.

    Slab Finishing ?

This is a catalpa table, I took the bark off then reattached it with glue and finish nails. Some species the bark stays on like concrete some no matter what you do it will eventually come off.

Would you buy this? Advice Please.

I use 1/2'' stuff to make solid wood longboards. I don't mind cupping it's a adds a natural concave to the board. But twisted wood would be unusable. I would have to up my production process to crank out the many boards. What are they asking for it?

New to milling. Bought a Lucas mill w/ slabbing attachment. Need Help pricing jobs.

Hourly is a good way of charging. I only run aBS mill, but charging by the hour and a surcharge for hitting any metal has worked well for me. I would think that if you are the only person in your area that can provide wide slabs. You would be able to ask a premium for your time or your finished...

What are you building with your milled wood? merged

CD cover frames, reclaimed red oak frame W/ spalted silver maple and pheasant painting and a ERC frame for a painting. I can't take credit for the pheasant painting, that's the old man's work.

how to best cut up a tree?

It also depends on what your plans for the wood are. Are you going to make something out of it? Are you going to try to sell it? You might want to check out quarter sawing oak. It gives it a very different and distinct grain pattern, but is also harder to do and wastes more wood.
