The way I read this is you turned the idle screw all the way in, That would give you a very fast idle. Turn the idle screw out 3 to 4 turns if it is still fast turn it out some more, if it wont idle turn it in till it does.

I think you should count your 32" 105 driver chain it should have 35 cutters, skip chain has 1 cutter for every three drivers. full comp has 1 cutter for every 2 drivers.

You did not mention the in tank filter, I would assume you tried that first.

I agree there is no rim on the 357 but the racket that would make should tell any one something is wrong.

Get the 461 while you can, it costs double what a 391 because it's twice the saw. I work with a friend that runs a 461, this guy could break an anvil without trying but his 461 is going on 3 years and still running great. The 461 will feel great with a 24 or 28 and will run a 36 when needed...

I really like the dual port muffler, did you find it that way or do it yourself?

My lists show the same number 507 476507, I think the other number 507 476661 was for the early p45 before the they added the two extra transfers/ boost ports.

Did you find the crankcase stuffer plate you were looking for? I may have one somewhere in my shed.
