    I have to agree with the 3 pulls then take the choke off. Once warmed up mine only takes about a half pull with no effort to get going again.

    Not sure how old it is, got it used but in great shape. Lincoln Power Mig 255, nice unit! Much nicer it use than my old Hobart. Get a 220 volt unit, 110 volts is for lights!! :buttkick: I like the mig for clean smooth welds or lots of starts and stops, but when I need to do thick stuff...

    Have you looked on eBay for the Makita 6401? They are going for less than $400 plus shipping. There is one on there now for $345 + $69 to ship to Canada. That would be a good deal for a saw with more power than its little cousin the 5100. Unless you want the dealer support then get the 5100...

    The R (resistor) to cut down the transmission noise from the ignition. It's picked up by TV's and radio's. At least that is what I remember, I could be wrong :biggrinbounce2:

    Most of that price is due to corporate greed. They have kept the price the same as when the Canadian dollar was at $0.63 to the USD, and now that they are about the same they don't want to drop the price because they think we will just accept the price for what it is and they get a big profit...

    Maybe after he fixes the and replaces the oil in the clutch you can ask him to check the muffler bearings too,,, they might need to be adjusted :dizzy: :dizzy: Get your saw away from him and go to another dealer
