    Frankensplitter?

    Talk about overkill Check the rotation of the pump... that pump may be the correct rotation to be driven off the front of the engine. There is no need for a transmission, centrifical clutch or anything along those lines...not sure why they were even recommended.. :confused: I would have to...

    Some people have used pipe reducer bushings.... I have a ball valve on mine... works great.. can open or close as I like.

    US Stove 1537G Improvements. Newbie?

    This is only during a power outage... no power to blower fan...will cause overfire.. During normal operation you can open more than 1 turn to get firebox temp up.

    What keeps the pump from spinning when the engine is started ??? the hoses?? ALL the splitters I have seen, have a mounting bracket for the pump....vertical or horizontal shaft. I woul like to see a picture of a free hanging pump....

    I'll second this story.. sounds just like my house... I have the 1537G.. has a different air control than the 1557.... but otherwise the same.

    Newbie here..:clap: My personal best has been 2 full cords in a day... Not to ever be duplicated again. :chainsaw:
