    Stolen Husqvarna 550XP

Chipper1 You are correct on my missing your point on the mark1 v. the mark2. In NC all the older mark1's are gone and one the two locals is sold out of the M2's. Huskyman. Those 346's are sought after around here in NC. I have to laugh when a 25 year old is telling me to go work for someone...

    Stolen Husqvarna 550XP

Geesh. The saw was stolen from my business. Guessing after 36 years in business and having only one chainsaw getting ripped off isn't so bad. Sent from my SM-G960U1 using Tapatalk

    Stolen Husqvarna 550XP

My trusty 550XP has been stolen and I need to replace it. It was a 2012 model and I mod'd the muffler. Outside of that it was factory and a pleasure to run. All you Husky users.... go back with a 550 or up to the 562? Thanks, Tom

    Husqvarna 550... cutting out

This saw has 35 hours on it and is a '13 model. I have trouble believing he computer on that number. The guy that is the primary user just shook his head. Could the computer be wrong on run times?

    Husqvarna 550... cutting out

My trusty '13 550XP is cutting out. It acts like the switch is being turned off when the saw is in a cut wide-open. I took it in to the dealer and he hooked it up to the computer and we updated everything. The coil number was entered into the program, etc. I stood beside the tech and he showed...

    Kinetic Splitter tips and tricks

The part of one person operating the control while another is loading scares the crap out of me. I've had a kinetic for 6 years and I love my hands way too much to try that. My $0.02 with [emoji16] Sent from my Nexus 6P using Tapatalk

    Woodmaxx kinetic splitter anyone?

The wider wedge is a puzzle to me. I think narrow is better. You mentioned sealed bearings. Their owners manual shows the tech greasings the pinion bearings. The Speeco and others ran 90# wheels. The downfall of the imports, in my opinion, was poor heat treating of the rack and pinion. The...

    Woodmaxx kinetic splitter anyone?

I've never run across this company but they have a very nice web site. They have spent a lot of time with photos and a nice video. The price with freight included is very attractive too. I look for a warranty and couldn't find that on their web site. The wedge is a lot wider than I was...

    Top loader log burners

I was looking at OWB DIY videos on YouTube last night and there were several top loader wood burner videos. These stoves were/are built in Canada. From my research the company that was building these is out of business. There is one company, Shaver that has a top-loader burner listed on their...
