    Husqvarna 372XP brake handle

Looks like there are 3 part numbers, 503 76 49 01 which supercedes to 503 76 49 02 and possibly 503 76 49 03 so the brake lever had two part updates....... that supercedes to Husqvarna 503627871 which is the orange plastic cylinder cover and the brake lever together.

    Husqvarna 372XP brake handle

I was at a Husky dealer today and a fellow came in with a high top full wrap 372xp pre xtorq saw with a broken plastic brake handle. The dealer tried to install what I gathered was the standard new brake handle part number 503 76 49-03 and it wouldn't go over the top cover or was binding on the...

    346xp Cylinder kit

The 346xp cylinder Exhaust port took a thrashing. I cleaned it up but would probably need at least a B piston and then not even sure the fit would be right without the piston in hand to check. I had the 350 top end laying around for years so I thought I would use it and experiment. I have a...

I have installed a new oem husqvarna 44mm 350 flat top piston/cylinder on my 346xp oe. Just wondering if there are any modifications I should have done to the cylinder? The pulse hole on the old 346xp cylinder is not exactly the same as the 350 cylinder I installed. Otherwise everything bolted...

    Crankshaft seal shelf life

Any ideas as to the shelf life of a new, never used Husqvarna crankshaft seal? What is the rubber compound used to make an oem seal? I have some seals with a date on the tag from 1993. They feel ok and springs not rusty.

Husqvarna 359 Why is there a steel pin protruding out of the gas tank?

I tried the standard rubber slide on limiter that fits this tank & it is loosey goosey on that steel pin. The steel coil antivibe near that steel pin doesn't allow the tank to really come close to the crankcase at that spot. No corresponding circle on the crankcase. Then again maybe the steel...

    Husqvarna 246 question

The kit is New Old Stock. This piston is windowed. The part number I provided above is for a Husqvarna 42 saw with a 42mm piston. The 73 on the end of the part number is the most recent updated number. 503 73 00-72 is the Husqvarna 246 kit as per the ipl with a 44mm piston.
