Chinese Carb to Fit Echo CS-590?

Saw Salvage/Traverse Creek is local to me. Chris treats me well. I am running his 590/620 carb in two of my Echo 620's. No issues.....they tune well. The carb also has no anti-lean hi speed jet like the factory carb does. IMO Chris has a winner here.

When did Echo get so costly?

Nope....looks like he is going Stihl.

When did Echo get so costly?

While still not cheap in my area a 7310 can be had for around $1100 or so before the 15% off sale

When did Echo get so costly?

I get that but Husky and Stihl quality isn't what it once was.

When did Echo get so costly?

MSRP for the 7310 might be $1340 but they can be had much cheaper with little effort.

When did Echo get so costly?

I bought both of my 7310's for under $800. This was before the price increase.

    1 saw plan???

Just remember to consider the saw weight too.

400c Rumors… or just internet trolls.

I will never understand the interest in running 100/1. A guy spends $1600 on a new Stihl 500i and runs 100/1. The savings over 40/1 or 50/1 is moot.

    Best Echo Chainsaw

Depending on the model I have never found my 60cc Echo saws to be lacking in low end torque.

    Non-working Echo CS-590

As stated the 590 easily floods. Just lose the decomp valve......cheap under $20 change!

Where did all the loggers go?

I joined here around 2002 and was heavily involved in posting. Now I just check out what's going on and post a little here and there. I met Gypo several times. Quite the character. I was supposed to chat on the phone with him shortly before he passed He will be missed.

Anyone familiar with this guy's exhaust work?

I have never run a pipe like this on my saw. Never will. Factory muffler properly modded is just fine. Those pipes make saw look like a POS.

Echo 590 with 24 inch bar

See if you can find someone that has a 590 that you could try and judge for yourself.

    Echo CS590 question

You will need the thrust washers. Just pay particular attention to the piston pin retaining clips. They are not known to hold well on the Lil Red pistons.

    Echo CS590 question

Might have been better going with an OEM piston. I haven't heard a whole lot of good things about Lil Red Barn. Pistons.

    Echo CS590 question

I just did a piston replacement on an Echo 620 and had to deal with those washers. I put one snap ring in the piston ahead of assembly. I used grease to hold the washers in place. I also put a small dial rod through to keep things in place as I installed the piston pin. It has a slight press fit

    Light weight durable saw

Until the AV mounts or crank bearings give out. No matter the available power any bar that big on an 026/260 is foolish.
