Actually looking at your pictures I can see in the first picture that the outter bolt hole has the insert in that I am talking about.

Is that a Mitts and Merrill chipper? This is kind of hard to explain but If you look inside the bolt holes on the anvil there should be threads in the anvil where a hollow insert threads in, when you back the bolts out from the drum they press against these threaded inserts and force the anvil...

I don't think the control valve is missing, it's mounted on the other side of the cylinder.

My 020AV measures about 8.5" from the bottom to the top of the handle (it doesn't have a hand guard). I also measured an 019T and it's about 9.5" tall so that would definetly be a no go. I don't have any complete 015's at the moment but I think they might be a little smaller. There aren't many...

015L or 020AV would be the older top handles. I'm not sure if they are taller than an XL, if you tell me how tall your XL is can measure my 020 for you. The 015 should be a little cheaper and easier to find.

Yeah still looking. As long as its half way decent I'll buy it, the saw looks goofy without it.

Anybody have an old metal 026 name plate they would like to sell? I have an older 026 in nice condition but the plate is missing. The dealer can't even get me a plastic one much less a metal one :( NOS would be great but used will work too.
