kill switch not working Look inside under the air filter. Make sure the wire is connected and not broken and the metal engages when you get to the shut off. You may have to clean the metal up so it makes better contact. Tom

Yeah it's a little cold up here. It was -27 this morning and with the wind it was between -40 and -50, but hey who's counting. I'm just glad I was down here in the heatwave. My folks live up north and they had -37 actual temp without wind chill factored in.

None of those parts will transfer over. The older crankcase uses a different crankshaft/rod. The crankshaft for the older case only accepts the metal flywheel. Depending on the version of the metal flywheel you will probably need a new ignition coil. Sorry.

Where are you finding 084 piston and cylinder kits aftermarket? Who is making them and what is the quality like? price? Thanks

I agree with NWCS and Dean on the 084. I am always looking to scavange 084 jugs and pistons (good ones with the heat groove in them). 026 would be nice, 036 also. Tom
