    E85 Fuel

It doesn't take a 1.5 gallons of gas to make a gallon of ethanol. There was one major article stating this and he left out other energy benefits you get from making ethanol. Either way, the process is being refined. New fermentation processes are being developed, and other materials other...

    husqvarna 51

The Husky 51 is a great little saw. It's the little brother to the Husky 55, or the Husky 55 Rancher. It is basically the same platform with a few less cc's. I ran a Husky 55 for a few years and never had one problem with it. If you get it, open up the muffler a little and the saw will...

    Gypo's The Man

How many times have we seen these threads. They wont come, and all this will bring about is all this "I am THE MAN" crap. It gets so old to read. I guess that is why a lot of people have vacated this site. It is definitely why I have stopped following most of the threads.

    026 vs. 346xp

I find the tensioning screw to be too small, but it works fine. You almost need a smaller screwdriver than the one they give you, it barely fits in the slot. Has anyone else run into 3/8" 60 dl chains being just a bit too big for the 16" Oregon powermatch bars (still loose with tensioner...

    Technology

We already see that this has warranted enough of a problem to see different types of chain. You have .325 for the smaller saws or 3/8" lowpro, with 3/8" and .404" for larger saws. Not to mention full comp, semi-skip, full skip, and round vs. square ground. There is industry awareness for the...

    Technology

It seems as though chainsaw manufacturers are continually working on making saws more fuel efficient and have less emissions. Something I have wondered about for awhile is chain technology. Other than low vibration and anti-kickback chains, has there been any research in the industry for...

    Stihl 088 KD

Butch!! Don't try to take away a potential customer from me!! :p All kidding aside, I talked with Lumberjack awhile, and told him the 066 would probably be better for him, definitely easier on the back. Its a great saw, don't get me wrong, but I wouldnt want to cut with it all day.

    372xp question

I dont have any problems with Huskys leaking oil (2 346's, 372, and 385). I did have a problem like you describe when I had a Windsor bar. It had two oil holes and one wasnt being blocked and it leaked oil all over the place. Switched to Oregon powermatch and had no problems. Rob

    Stihl 088 KD

Mark, He just did the basic woods modification. I never planned on doing anything other than cutting a large tree with it, so I didnt want a drastic modification. As far as I know he did not bump up the carb. Rob

    Stihl 088 KD

Alright, I've had this saw for over a year now and I really have no use for it. The saw is still pretty much brand new and has never touched wood except when Ken Dunn tested it before and after woods modification. Here is the email from Ken showing the improvements. >From: "Ken Dunn" >To...

    Husqvarna 372XP for sale.

Yeah, it is a bit strange when the guy never responds, but keeps dropping the price even after he had a few interested people. Good luck on getting your saw or your money back. Rob

    Husky 372 problems

Ben, Dan Henry ported it for me, and it was the first saw I had ported other than a walkerized 346. I am happy with the job he did and have no complaints. I initially had Mike Rupley send me a moded muffler that just had a port in the front bracket just like Dan does. I wanted to keep my...
