If it's Black Locust, it's about on par with Hickory in terms of strength. Slightly stronger than Oaks... https://www.wood-database.com/black-locust/ Span will depend on the load on the beam. If there's no load on the beam, you could span 30' without issue if the tree is long and straight...

Don't mind the dust and dirt, its still my go to saw. As you can see, the compression is excellent. 162psi cold roughly. I forgot how hard it was to pull this thing over without the decomp valve depressed... Bar that's shown on it will go with it, I just fired it up and cut some wood with it...

Replied to all. Based on a buddies info, I'm really looking for a 562XP at this point. Willing to throw in a little cash for the right saw.

I'll take some tonight. The PH is in great shape, the bar like I said needs to be replaced, so I'm throwing it in so whoever buys it can try it out when they get it. I'll throw in some almost new chain as well. The rest of my bars are all good, so I'll keep them.

Saw is in good shape, will sell with the 20" bar that needs to be replaced, as well as a couple chains that are in good shape if you want them. Saw runs excellent and has always been well cared for. Have been out of logging for a few years, and been burning firewood... This beast is just too...

Like I said, I love the thing for bucking timber, it does it in a hurry. Its just such a nice saw for limbing it is worth the investment for that job alone! Through in the fact that it bucks wood as well as a much heavier saw and its just a phenom!

Yep... Decided I needed a real limbing saw, the 340 was a great little saw, but it didn't like bucking hardwoods much. Plus all you guys rave about the saw, so I went in to GKS where my buddy works, and he gave me a smoking deal on on with a 16" Oregon PM bar and LPX chain in .325x.050... Out...

Duramax was bought by GM about 4 years ago, Isuzu engineered the first engines, built them, then GM bought them out. The new 4.5L D-Max is being built at the Tonawanda Engine Plant, just outside of Buffalo, NY.

Alright, this is a pretty common problem, and I'm surprised nobody said it yet. Pull the fuel line and filter and replace them, I'd be more than willing to bet your fuel line is cracked. Husky's suck with that. If you really want to fix it for good, go down to a hardware store and buy a matching...
